Looking for the best weight loss solutions and diet program to follow is one of the struggles of many people today. However, most people tend to have certain beliefs that they consider weight loss facts such crash diets. For most people, these so-called weight loss facts may work but some have bad effects to the body. Some of which are anorexia, bulimia, or if not, stress that can more likely make a person gain more weight.

Weight Loss Facts - The Myths about Weight Loss
There are many myths on weight loss that some consider as weight loss facts. These myths tend to mold teenagers and plus-size people into thinking that they can gain the so-called “Barbie doll figure” if followed.

Some of these myths are:
  • Crash diets
  • Eating fattening food will not help in your diet
  •  Avoiding junk food when on a diet
  • You can lose more than 30 pounds in a month on supplements
These are just some of the invented so-called weight loss facts by people who believe at exaggerated television advertisements for weight loss. But these are just myths about weight loss that may even cause a person to gain more weight, like crash diets. Crash diets are known by some as a weight loss fact that could help a person lose pounds by simply not eating an entire day. It is likely that you will lose weight when you go on a crash diet but this would create a change in your body’s digestive system, which may lead to ulcers and gastroenteritis. Crash diets have been done by teenagers to lower their weights and have even lead to anorexia and bulimia when the body suddenly does not want to accept food anymore.
When going on a diet, it is good to maintain the number of calories eaten, but crash diets are not a way to lose weight. Eating the right food is the best way to lose weight and gain better results and a healthier body. There are two kinds of fats—good and bad, the good kind can be found in some foods and is needed by the body for a better metabolic process.
Another of the weight loss facts is avoiding junk food. Avoiding junk food like chips and chocolates will only intensify your craving and make you eat more than you are supposed to. Reward yourself from time to time by eating a little bit of chocolate or sweets or chips to satisfy your craving. Believing in the so called weight loss facts such as being able to lose 30 pounds in a month is a fallacy. Not even exercising 24 hours can do that. It is physically impossible.
